Giambattista Carminati was born in Ponte San Pietro (BG) on 19 June 1970.

He completed his basic studies at the College Sant’Antonio in Busnago (MB), and then he choosed technical address and continue his specialized studies at the Istituto Tecnico for Geometri “Giacomo Quarenghi” in Bergamo.

He graduated in June 1989 with 56/60 and note of merit for the vote approached in relation to educational collaborations with professors of Topograph, Estimate and Construction.

Then he decided, in the same year, to subscribe in the Faculty of Engineering of  the Polytechnic in Milan but despite having sustained some exams, a year later abandons the Faculty for an internal transfer to the Faculty of Architecture. The first year argues brilliantly seven exams but the following year he was forced to started to the obligation of military service.

He did service in the body of police, he stayed before in Fossano (CN) and then in La Spezia. During this period he attended, however, and occasionally the University environment and, nevertheless, it disengages debating and passing two exams.

The end of compulsory military service, December 1992, coinciding with the start of a training job in a technical study of Architecture. This commitment is shared with his studies until graduation that profitably is discussed in March 1997 with the vote of 93/100. Subject of the thesis “Design and Upgrading of Buildings and Urban Building of downtown of Filago (Bergamo)”; new map of walking trails and public areas useful to aggregation and use of the municipal services “–  professor was Bianca Bottero.

In May 1997, crowning  the University career, also reached the favorable outcome of the examination; it follows the first inscription to the Order of Architect of Bergamo – January 1998.

From April 1997 to May 2006 including, the architect Carminati Giambattista works as “external Professional” with society Tecnoma, after Tecnoma Group of architect Maurilio Citterio and geom. Maurizio Pasquini.

In January 1999, because he change the residence, closes the position on Bergamo and open the position of Order of Architect of Lecco; even today the Arch. Carminati Giambattista is listed no. 598.

During the academic period, in addition to educational workshops and technical cooperation with an architectural e technical study, was intense the public activity understood in the sense of participation in Building Commissions, alderman of public jobs and private costruction for two administrative mandates (8 years).

The collaboration with the study of engineering  Tecnoma Group, began with tasks of “Senior Designer Cad”, develops further up to the level of “Project Manager” with direct management of Customer and related order.

The collaboration with Tecnoma Group becomes a direct collaboration with two major and very import Customers: the company Vegagest  SGR s.p.a. Scrovegni Fund and the Alfa Tecno s.r.l. company to handle first and then designing shopping centers respectively of Tradate (VA) and Martinengo (BG).

For about 65,000 sqm. of commercial, direction and Hotels and at least 160 residential apartments.

Since 1998 he also started the design, the construction and the supervision of jobs of private Contractors interventions that integrated the professional activities, the project and design of the study.
